Goals
- The goal is to define the essential requirements for the first prototype of the Data FAIRport.
Background and strategic fit
As a deliverable of the FAIR-dICT project and also to set an initial effort towards the intended data interoperability platform, we are working on the development of the first prototype of the Data FAIRport.

| 3 | Access data | Once a dataset has been found matching the given criteria, the data owner wants to access the data. | Must | The data may be accessible directly from the Data FAIRport, i.e., the data has been published and host by the FAIRport, or may be accessible from a data repository that is external to the FAIRport. In the latter case, the FAIRport contains information (metadata) about the dataset's access point. |
